This policy describes how Kaz ManioKa collects, uses and protects your personal data, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.

Data collected

Depending on your interaction with the website, we collect the following categories of data:

  • Identification data: first name, last name (when you complete the contact or chat form).
  • Contact details: email address, phone / WhatsApp number.
  • Booking data: requested suite, arrival and departure dates, specific requests.
  • Conversational data: content of exchanges with our AI concierges Naïka (voice) and Léa (chat).
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, language, pages visited, cookies (see dedicated section).
  • Payment data: collected and processed exclusively by our payment provider Stripe (integrated via the GoHighLevel Rentals booking platform). Kaz ManioKa stores no banking data.

Purposes of processing

  • To respond to your enquiries about the suites (Le Manyok, Le Ka), rates and availability.
  • To manage your booking, confirmation, payment and stay.
  • To send you practical information related to your stay (check-in, local information).
  • To improve the quality of our service and the experience offered by the AI concierges.
  • To meet our legal and accounting obligations (invoicing, tourist tax).

Legal bases

  • Performance of a contract: processing of your booking and stay (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
  • Consent: sending of marketing communications, placement of non-essential cookies (Art. 6.1.a GDPR).
  • Legal obligation: retention of invoices and accounting data (Art. 6.1.c GDPR).
  • Legitimate interest: service improvement, fraud prevention (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).

Retention period

  • Prospect data (without booking): 3 years from the last contact.
  • Customer data (with booking): 5 years from the end of the stay for commercial purposes, then archived for 10 years to meet accounting obligations.
  • Payment data: retained by Stripe under its own rules, never stored by Kaz ManioKa.
  • Cookies: 13 months maximum.
  • AI conversations Naïka / Léa: 12 months for service improvement, then deletion or anonymisation.

Recipients and processors

Your data is accessible only to the website publisher and her technical processors, contractually bound to comply with the GDPR:

  • Vercel Inc. (United States) — website hosting. Transfers governed by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
  • HighLevel / LeadConnector (United States) — booking platform, management of Naïka and Léa conversations, CRM. SCCs in place.
  • Resend (United States) — sending of transactional emails (availability summaries, confirmations).
  • Mapbox (United States) — display of the interactive map on the Location page.
  • Stripe (United States, via GoHighLevel Rentals) — payment processing.
  • IONOS SARL (France) — domain name registration and email inbox contact@kazmanioka.fr.

No data is resold to third parties for commercial purposes.

Your rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access: to obtain a copy of your data.
  • Right to rectification: to correct inaccurate data.
  • Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"): to request the deletion of your data, subject to legal obligations.
  • Right to restriction of processing.
  • Right to data portability: to retrieve your data in a structured format.
  • Right to object: to object to processing at any time.
  • Right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the validity of prior processing.
  • Right to set directives regarding the fate of your data after your death.

To exercise these rights, write to contact@kazmanioka.fr specifying your request and enclosing a copy of an identity document. We respond within one month.

If, after contacting us, you consider that your rights are not respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French CNIL (Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés — Data Protection Authority).

Cookies

The website uses cookies for its operation and, subject to your consent, to improve your experience. A banner allows you to accept or refuse each category. The main categories are:

  • Strictly necessary cookies: language preferences, session — active without consent (legal basis: legitimate interest).
  • Third-party functional cookies: Naïka and Léa concierge widgets (GoHighLevel), Mapbox map — active after consent.

Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data: HTTPS encryption (HSTS), restricted access, GDPR-compliant providers, regular backups, updating of software dependencies.

This policy may be modified to reflect changes in our practices or in regulations. The date of the latest update is shown at the bottom of the page. Substantial changes will be notified to you by email.
